Lately it seems I have to fight tooth and nail to get my 9 year old to eat breakfast.
I'm trying to teach her how important breakfast is and how it needs to be packed with nutrients and protein.
Well, I came up with a delicious dessert the other night that can double as a healthy breakfast and it couldn't be easier to make!
Heres what you need:
An apple (I like Pink Lady)
Vanilla Yogurt (I prefer unsweetened coconut milk vanilla yogurt)
Cinnamon (you could use a drop of cinnamon essential oil for added immune support)
Cut up the apple in small kid friendly pieces
Add some yogurt
(if you go the unsweetened route, add a little raw honey to sweeten it up!)
Sprinkle with cinnamon
Stir it up and enjoy!
